Fund lifecycle and operations

Fund Administrator

A fund administrator is a third-party provider that may maintain a fund’s records, accounting, investor statements, capital-call notices, and distribution calculations. The scope of services varies. Ask who performs this work, and if the fund handles it in-house, ask how it controls the process.
