Investor Relations (IR)

Investor relations (IR) is the team or person responsible for communicating with LPs: fundraising, reporting, capital calls, and the ongoing relationship. At small funds, the GP often handles IR directly; larger funds may have a dedicated IR team.

Example: When you send the IR Questionnaire from the Due Diligence Toolkit, address it to the fund’s IR contact.
