TVPI (Total Value to Paid-In)

TVPI (total value to paid-in) is distributions plus the fund’s remaining net asset value (NAV), divided by paid-in capital. Because NAV estimates the value of unsold assets, TVPI includes unrealized value.

Example: $30 million distributed plus $70 million of remaining NAV on $50 million paid in produces a TVPI of 2.0x.
