Uncalled Capital

Uncalled capital is the part of your commitment the fund hasn’t yet requested. It’s still a binding obligation: when the fund calls it, you’re expected to send it. It’s sometimes called an unfunded commitment.

Example: You commit $100,000 and $60,000 has been called. Your uncalled capital is $40,000, still owed when the fund asks for it.
